Progress: 7.2 miles - Wild Berry cache (mi 1416.4) to Burney Falls State Park (mi 1423.6)
Today I took my time leaving the cache, trying to savor it before hiking on. In the early afternoon Backtrack returned from his hitch on Highway 299 into Burney for his resupply and we hiked the 7.2 miles to the State Park.
Once there I got two soft serve ice cream cones and picked up my food package. I had way too much food, but was able to give some to Chewie. I ate as much as I could handle tonight, and we camped at the PCT hiker campground within the park.
