Progress: 20.8 miles - tentsite (mi 1521.6) to Deadfall Lake (mi 1542.4)
I didn't sleep too well last night, because I was cowboy camped and there were a lot of bugs. It was so warm that the mosquitoes didn't go away even when it got dark.
It rained and thundered threateningly on and off throughout our hike today.
This evening the storm rolled through our campsite and it rained really really hard and thundered even louder. There were cherry-sized pieces of hail raining down on us. I'm proud of my tent for holding up and keeping me and my stuff dry. I'm also proud of myself for being inside it and set up in time. I would be soaked otherwise.
