Progress: 28.1 miles - tentsite (mi 1447.9) to Ash Campground (mi 1476.0)
Today was long! 28.1 miles is the most PCT miles I've covered in a day. We met "the family" a family of 4 that is thru-hiking together!
Backtrack and I made it to the Ash Campground, where there are a bunch of fishermen and car-campers. A couple, Walt and Megan, knew a little about the trail and wanted to give us some trail magic! They gave us a bunch of food and beer. It's been amazing to see how nice people are to PCT hikers, and I feel like I've been the recipient of so much generosity in the last two months.
