Progress: 30.2 miles - Seiad Valley, CA (mi 1662.0) to tentsite near Mud Spring (mi 1692.2)
This morning Chewie and I woke up and left the RV Park at 4 am, we walked off while it was still dark, using our headlamps to light the way. The climb out of town was quite long and fairly steep; I think it's the biggest climb on the whole PCT. It was difficult getting up that early to do it, but worth it to avoid the heat.
The remainder of the day was also quite difficult, with a lot of elevation change after the first big climb.
I ate two dinners tonight.
Tomorrow we're finally Oregon-bound!
